Research and Education
The polymer group at Polymer & Materials Chemistry s active in two main research areas – ion-conducting polymers, and free volume- and mobility in polymers. Research is focused
on fundamental questions as well as on applied problems, and to
a large extent involves co-operation with industry. The department
takes part in several co-operative research programs with other
universities and with industry.
The polymer group offers several undergraduate and graduate courses
in Polymer & Materials technology, Polymer Chemistry, Polymer Physicsrs, Polymer Materials and Materials Chemistry.
Visions
Our main goals are to give high-class education at the MSc and
PhD levels, and to carry out research aiming at identifying and
solving fundamental questions regarding preparation, properties
and applications of polymers. A further goal is to provide education
and research of relevance for the Swedish industry. |
